Lush Haul | New Releases

Recently I've been seeing so many amazing Lush things that could only be bought in the Lush on Oxford Street and as I don't live anywhere near London I was so sad that I could buy any as they all looked amazing! However Lush now has it's new stock in and here is what I think of some of the pieces I bought (I also bought some of the older stuff too obv!), I thought I would review the ones I haven't tried.

Rose Jam

The first thing I picked up was this super cute looking bubble bar. I've never actually had a bubble bar before so this is whole new waters (haha) for me. Basically you crumble it up under a running tap and voila bubbles! This also turns the water a really nice pale pink colour, it's basically a super girly bath. The smell is really nice and not overpowering, I think it's quite subtle. After my bath my skin felt super soft and I felt so refreshed!

Yoga Bomb

Oh my goodness I think that I have found my new favourite Lush bath bomb. It is incredible. Definitely one of the more relaxing bath bombs so perfect for an evening bath before bed. I really love the smell, which is quite strong but fairly sweet. My favourite thing about this one is that it has a really warming quality which I think is from the sandalwood oil in it. I nearly didn't pick this one up because it doesn't look as exciting as some of the other newer ones BUT how wrong I was. Firstly it makes the bath orange but has tonnes of gold glitter which just looks gorgeous. BUT THEN after I was convinced that was it, LOADS OF COLOURS STARTED POURING OUT. It is quite a slow dissolving one and the colours don't come out right until the end but it just looks so pretty! Definitely a favourite and one I will be buying again for sure.

Frozen

So I think this is my favourite bomb after the Yoga Bomb. Firstly it's called Frozen and it said on the label 'Do you want to have a bath bomb? Do you want to splash and play?' which I loved and then I had the song in my head for my entire bath. This one turned the bath water a lovely bright blue. My bomb kind of split up into two different bits, one bit kept dissolving releasing the blue colour and the other part was releasing silver, light blue and dark blue glitter, it looked so pretty! This glitter kind of shimmers and made my bath look magical. The scent is really nice a little lighter compared to Yoga Bomb and Intergalactic. Overall I really liked this one, and would definitely repurchase!

Intergalactic

From the outside I think this is the most pleasing to the eye out of the products I bought. It's super pretty and I think it is named aptly! The main smell of this is peppermint which is one of my favourite smells so I was excited to try this out. I decided to use this as a morning bath bath bomb as I thought the peppermint and grapefruit oil would leave me refreshed and ready for the day. When you put this one in the water it fizzes immediately, it's a much faster dissolver that Yoga Bomb. One of the things I love the most about the bomb is that the colour is so vibrant. It's a beautiful dark teal colour and if you put your hand at the bottom of the bath you can't see it! It is also has lots of bit of glitter in it which obviously is the best (Although the people who have a bath after me don't think so as bits of glitter somehow manage to find their way into their bath!). As well as the blue colour the bath bomb also leaves a stream of pastel colours, pink yellowy gold and blue. It is just so pretty and kinda out of this world (ha). Oh I almost forgot, this one also has popping candy in, I don't really know what the affect of the popping candy is but you can definitely hear it! If, like some of the people I know, you don't like the smell of minty things this bath bomb probably won't be your favourite but maybe you can learn to love it because it is so pretty...????

I think I will definitely repurchase Yoga Bath and Frozen again. Have you tried any of the new Lush products? Which are your favourite?

    1. You have to, it's so good!! Is the Experimenter the one with about 6 different colours? It looked AMAZING but I didn't LOVE the smell. Let me know what it's like in the bath because with all the different colours I don't know colour it would end up turning the bath water!? xxx

  2. I really need to get myself down to my local Lush to try out the new range of products! I definitely have my eye on the Rose Jam bubble bar as its one of my favourite shower gels by them and the frozen and intergalactic bath bombs as I've heard such great things about them. It sounds so cool how they've used popping candy as an ingredient too :) xx
